It is time for another great season of Canon Mac Youth Basketball!  Please see the sign-up information below for our Recreational and Travel Programs. 

Registration will be On Line this year. Go to canonmacbba.com and select “Available Programs”. Registration will be open starting Monday, September 18.  Travel registration will close Saturday October 7, Rec registration will close Sunday October 22.

Recreational League

Our Recreational League goals are to teach all basketball fundamentals including ball-handling, shooting, offensive and defensive court skills necessary to play the great game of basketball for players in grades 3 through 8. Teams will practice one or two times per week starting in December. Games will be scheduled every Saturday starting in January. 

Travel League

Players interested in competing at the highest skill level are encouraged to try out for one of our Travel Teams. We have at least one team, possibly two, in each grade from 4th thru 8th competing in local competitive leagues. Canon Mac travel teams are designed to be highly competitive, so the number of players per team will be limited. Optional Open Gym times are available in the Fall for players interested in trying out for the Travel Team; contact Scott Drakeley for more information ([email protected]).

Tryouts for the Travel Teams will take place during the week of October 9. Times and specific dates for each grade level communicated when set. Please note, if not selected for a Travel Team, the player will automatically be accepted into the recreational league with no additional registration necessary.

Registration Fees

The cost to register is $150 per player which will cover all fees to play in our league. Players making the travel team squads will be subject to an additional fee to cover new uniforms, tournaments, and security costs.
